Supplier's Ratings I: Church and Venue

Our wedding was perfect! Yes, there were glitches but we hardly noticed it.  During that special day, my husband and I truly let go and let the whole experience enveloped us.  It was such a joy that our guest enjoyed that day as well.  It is such heart-warming hearing them say that it was one of best weddings they have attended.  So to our dear suppliers, we owe this to you! =)

Rating: 5 highest, 1 lowest

CHURCH: St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish (Magallanes Church)
Peso Power: P25,000
Rating: 5

Who wouldn't fell in love with Magallanes Church's architectural design?!  Natural light seeping in through the wide and big arches... Aside from that, it was airconditioned and a relatively small church.  I don't really like the idea of walking down the aisle with empty pews so the size of this church is just perfect for us.  It may not be a long aisle but the revolving wooden door more than made up for that! Drama effect kung drama effect. =)  The choir's loft is located at the 2nd floor so top shots are also possible. Plus, Ms. Cathy of the parish office is just the nicest!!!!  Very easy to deal with and replies fast to text and email.

The downside?  It is such a popular church that scheduling might be a problem.  We booked them more than a year in advance and still didn't get the date that we initially wanted.  That's how in demand they are.  But im telling you, booking them in advance is worth it! =)

RECEPTION VENUE: The Blue Leaf - Silk Pavilion
Peso Power: P100,000 + 8,000 for the genset
Rating: 4

It was our first and only choice! Blue Leaf is really beautiful.  The only downside is (like the other blue leaf couples) is the additional genset! You would think that with the price, a good sound system would already be provided.  The included projector is also not that clear, good thing that our P/V East Digital brought another one.  But with the beautiful venue, ample parking and nice staff, Blue Leaf is still a good choice.

My 1st Month as a Wife

It has been a while since I last posted here.  Been busy with my new role as a wife.  Yes, we've been married now for 46 blissful days. =)

So, how was our first month of being husband and wife?  So far, so good! It's really wonderful seeing your husband first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening.  I told him that one of the best things about being married is that I do not have to sleep alone ever again. It is such a comfort knowing that he's beside you all through out the night.

Since I do not know how to cook (but in fairness, i do know how to fry. hahaha), preparing food, especially dinner, is a struggle.  I didn't really expect thinking of what food to prepare to be hard.  Thanks to timplado meat at the grocery, i am able to serve him different food every night.  Hahaha. Thanks also that our condo is just behind Robinson's Galleria, it is easy to just cross the street and eat out.  So much for being a good cook.  =p

But i promised myself that I will really learn how to cook this year so as to serve him more delicious and healthy food, especially now that we have a baby coming.  Another surprise! I'm pregnant!  Life is really good!  Thank you God for all these great blessings! I truly couldn't ask for more! =) =) =)
